WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?

A CHARGE WAS FILED WITH THE CWA NATIONAL UNION TO
INVESTIGATE AND CONDUCT AN AUDIT OF HOW LOCAL 1033
WAS SPENDING MEMBER'S DUES AS REPORTED IN THE 2007
THRU 2009 IRS FORM 990. EVEN WITHOUT AN AUDIT, THE
FOLLOWING WAS EVIDENT:

1.  The Local’s fraudulent reporting of expenditures of $104,000 on a
non-existent organizing committee.

2.  During the period of 2007 thru 2009, over two million dollars
($2,000,000.00+) was spent on unspecified employees ranging from
17 to 34 employees, when the local only employs maybe 10
- 13
employees
.

3.  During the period of 2007 thru 2009 Dennis Reiter was paid over
$200,000.00
for a no show 20 hour work week part time gig.

4.  A $600,000.00 debt, that has not changed over the period in
question.

5.  All Local employees received raises, members had their pay cut.

6.  The Local’s staunch refusal to provide an itemization of
expenditures, advising the law must change for the complainants or
members of this local to obtain this specific information.
No
transparency, all expenditures are hidden!

THE UNION'S RESPONSE, from SECRETARY ANNIE HILL:

"Your requests for a temporary administrator and an audit of
Local 1033 are likewise not appropriate. While the Executive
Board does have the authority to order an audit and initiate
charter revocation proceedings, such action is only taken when
there is a substantial showing that such action is necessary.
You have made no such showing here."

HUH? YOU MUST BE KIDDING!

No, we are not kidding this is
part of the response we received from
the CWA National Union.
By the book for members, but make up
their own rules as they go along for themselves.

Notably, since these charges were pending and an ongoing
investigation by the Federal Government, there is no elaborate
campaign headquarters, staffed by paid employees during this
election. As a matter of fact the Roeder Team has not done much
campaigning.  Stay Tuned!
