WHAT'S GOING ON WITH LOCAL 1033?
No decision has been made by the CWA National Union whether there is probable cause to move forward to trial on MFC's charges against the Roeder Administration.
The MFC are absolutely certain that the National's investigation uncovered other actionable charges against the Roeder Administration---including unequal treatment through disparate wages against minorities. Roeder accomplishes this nefarious discrimination by hiding behind the fact that it was voted upon by members that employees are paid lost time wages or their state salaries at the time they are hired at the local. The result is a gross violation of the CWA Constitution, State and Federal Anti-Discrimination Laws against unequal pay for the same work performed.
The National and/or aggrieved employees should file internal charges and/or complaints. Moreover, aggrieved employees should seek counsel to file external administrative and civil complaints, where one "Who dares nothing, need hope for nothing." Schiller - Don Carlos.
The National should ORDER publication of the duties and salaries of all employees of the Local to the membership, as a matter of course in lieu of the fact that the Roeder Administration adamantly refuse to do so.
Frederick J. Beaver, Director of the Division of Pensions and Benefits sent out a memo "to provide PERS members with a factual description of what will and will not occur as well as to correct the misinformation and unnecessarily alarmist language contained in the CWA memo," as a result of Roeder's continuing irresponsible, false and unsupported accusations. Roeder does not represent the interest of the members of CWA Local 1033. If for whatever reason the National disagrees with the indisputable evidence of this assessment, then maybe it is time to put a voting member for Public Workers on the National CWA Executive Board.
Further, if the National Union can see any virtue or advantage in allowing Roeder to continue as she does, then we are in deeper trouble as a union than previously thought. For if that is the case, CWA does not stand for Communication Workers of America but rather, the Championship Wrestling Alliance or Championship Wrestling Association, a dog and pony show. This just might explain Governor Elect Christie's reluctance to engage in any meaningful dialogue.
*********************************************************************************************************************** MFC member Mary Walker filed a charge/complaint that is being investigated by the National Union against Roeder for misappropriating members dues. Roeder filed a criminal complaint against Mary for leaving a message in opposition to Roeder's gross mismanagement of the Local. This sordid affair has been settled.
MFC supporter, Dona Varga, filed a charge/complaint which is being investigated by the National Union against the Roeder Administration for failing to represent Local 1033 members at mandated Local President's meetings...presumptively misappropriating/squandering over $100,000 of member's dues as to what was in the best interest of CWA Members statewide.
MFC still awaits the Roeder administration to follow through on their threat to bring charges against us for claiming this administration misappropriated/squandered member's dues.

Complaint 1 Local Standing Committees To avoid prosecution Roeder has created some committees, staffed by her hand pick minions with no notice to members providing an opportunity to apply for these committees.
This complaint references the Roeder Administration's failure to comply with the CWA Constitution and Local By-Laws to install Standing Committees. These committees maintain the democratic process and provide the membership with real opportunities to participate in the governance of this Local.

Complaint 4 - An Interactive Website This complaint references the failure of this administration to bring this Local into the 21st century by using internet. Use of the Employer's e-mail was negotiated in the contract, Side Letter of Agreement #29.
